For the glaze

When glazing the cookies, I recommend putting a cooling rack on top of a baking sheet and setting the fresh glazed cookies on there so that the excess glaze can drip off. I show this in the video

In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix white sugar, brown sugar, and butter on a medium speed

Mix in egg and vanilla on a medium speed

On a low speed, add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt

On a floured surface, use a floured rolling pin to roll out the dough

Form the dough into the shape of a rectangle by cutting off uneven sides

Add a generous amount of cinnamon and sugar to the top of the dough

Roll the dough up the way that you roll a cinnamon roll (Use the video for further explanation if needed). Basically roll into a log shape)

Chill in the freezer for 45 minutes

Cut the log into 2 cm long cookies

Set the cookies on a baking sheet

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes

Once the cookies have cooled, it's time to make the glaze!!

Sift the powdered sugar into a bowl

Dip all the cookies in the glaze

Wait 1 hour to let the glaze set

1 egg
